Best of 2006: First Six Months

Since half of 2006 has passed, I decided to make a list of albums that I liked, I was also inspired by Straight Bangin', I have to say that the first half of '06 got some good albums, check bellow:

Favorites

Ghostface Killah - Fishscale
Lord Jamar - The 5% Album
Roots Manuva - Alternately Deep
Tumi & the Volume - Tumi & the Volume
De La Soul - The Impossible Mission Mixtape
The Coup - Pick a Bigger Weapon
Cut Chemist - The Audience's Listening
CunninLynguists - Piece of Strange
Spank Rock - YoYoYoYoYo
Dave Chappelle's Block Party OST
Jurassic 5 - Feedback (I'm a bit disapointed, but It's still a good album, I'll make a better review when the retail cames out)
Tanya Morgan - Moonlighting
Zion I - Break A Dawn
Louis Logic and J.J. Brown - Misery Loves Comedy
Vakill - Worst Fears Confirmed
Mr. Lif - Mo Mega
Pack FM - WutduzFMstand4 (Promo) (Looking forward for the Retail)

Good albums/Could have been better

Public Enemy and Paris - Rebirth of a Nation
US3 - Schizophonic
Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere
Busta Rhymes - The Big Bang (got some good tracks, but It's still a disapointment)
Tim Dog - BX Warrior (Advance) (Nice Album, Looking forward for the Retail)
Marcelo D2 - Meu Samba é Assim
Rhymefest - Blue Collar
M-1 - Confidential
Field Mob - Light Poles and Pine Trees
Dr. Octagon - The Return of Dr. Octagon
Murs and 9th Wonder - Murrays revenge
Dilated Peoples - 20-20
Tha Dogg Pound - Cali Iz Active
Comptons Most Wanted - Music to Gang Bang (It's good to see that there are still some good gangsta rappers)
Army Of The Pharaohs - The Torture Papers

EDIT: I forgot... Chino XL - Poison Pen.. that also could have been better..

EDIT 2: I'll had The Roots - Game Theory to the Favorites, maybe the album of the year

I would like to say "thank you" to all the hip-hop blog community and rapbasement board because without this two, a lot of good albums wouldn't ever get my attention.

I'm too lazy to upload all those albums, most of them aren't too hard to find, if you can't find some of them say something and I'll hook you up.

Agree? Don't Agree? Something missing? Hit me up

Jurassic 5 - Feedback, will be the best album of 2006.

Louis Logic and J.J. Brown - Misery Loves Comedy average album

Rhymefest - Blue Collar , top album

Dr. Octagon - The Return of Dr. Octagon, this album is just straight trash.

maybe you're right about J5,anonymous, but I was waiting another Quality Control or Power in Numbers

that's the problem of the fans today. we can wait and wait for artist to make another classic like in the ol days but those days are over for most of them. J5 does make a superb effort though ;)

^ Exactly, they made a superb effort, too bad cut chemist left J5..

I'm really disappointed in Vinnie Paz with AOTP. His lyrics were so weak, I hope Jedi Mind comes with a solid album next month or they could be counting there days with the real fans
